A holistic approach to providing building consultancy services
We were appointed to the Diocese of Shrewsbury’s framework for building design consultancy services in 2009 and have been working on the long-term development plans of their school’s portfolio since 2000.
Over this time, we have formed a close relationship with our client as a trusted advisor, successfully delivering more than 150 projects across their schools and academies each year.
Our work with the Diocese ranges from refurbishment, repairs and maintenance to capital new-build, internal remodelling and adaptions.
To ensure the Diocese’s building portfolio is well-maintained and that project work is strategically planned, we work closely with the individual schools and academies, initially to collate data to produce a programme of works, and then to manage the projects through to successful completion.
We put in place a programme that addresses not only planned development, but also reactive maintenance and repair.
This holistic approach towards capital and maintenance of the Diocese’s portfolio provides an economic and best-value approach to the whole life-cycle and upkeep of the capital assets.
Over the years, we have developed a close understanding of the schools with which we work, helping us to provide buildings that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum, provide excellent facilities for local communities, and help pupils reach their highest potential.
