Principal Designer and CDM Advisor
Prioritising safety from the start
Acting as principal designers under updated CDM (Construction, Design and Management) regulations, we fully integrate health and safety throughout the entire design and construction process. Our aim is to not only make sure that all legislation is met but to add value to every project. With clients benefitting from our vast practical expertise in design, occupational safety, construction safety, risk assessment, and end-user documentation.
We also support clients in fulfilling their duties as set out under the revised CDM regulations introduced in 2015. Offering a comprehensive advisory service that includes the preparation of project briefs, and the proposal of management arrangements.
AHR has proven to be an excellent business partner with a particular emphasis on site safety. Their expertise and commitment to the project is a major factor in achieving practical completion of complex and diverse challenges. The team has done a fantastic job and always acted in a professional and supportive manner.”

The key expertise we offer to our clients
Principal Designer
Our skilled principal designers boast enhanced practical knowledge about all construction and design projects as both highly qualified health and safety experts and chartered building surveyors. We are proud to be qualified members of the Association for Project Safety (APS), as well as the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
We provide a service that addresses our obligations, all the while independent of the designer, and offer independent and impartial help in dealing with the principal and other contractors. Taking a proactive, positive, and practical approach to implementing CDM Regulations helps us to minimise bureaucracy while never losing sight of the importance of health and safety.
CDM Client Advisor
Revised CDM Regulations introduced in 2015 saw more duties and responsibilities placed with clients, including being criminally accountable for their approach to health and safety across the life of a project. Our team of experienced and highly-skilled health and safety advisers, offer easy-to-understand advice and invaluable assistance that relieves the pressure on clients by ensuring they carry out their exact duties and comply with all required regulations.
