Key part of the jigsaw in Lichfield’s future regeneration
Kick starting wider city centre regeneration, our repurposing of the vacant Debenhams store will provide a cinema, food and beverage and leisure facilities, as well as a top floor restaurant with roof terrace facing out onto a new public square. It will be the first time in decades that Lichfield has had a multi screen cinema.
A vital part of the council’s wider strategic ambition to regenerate the city centre, the development overlooking Lichfield’s three spires, will make use of the space that had fallen into disrepair after Debenhams went into administration.
Designed to encourage more visitors, full height windows at the ground floor open out onto the public square, with views into the food and beverage premises, the cinema lobby and lounge.
As the first phase of development, it will pave the way for further stages including food and beverage units, as well as quality office accommodation and a new car park to replace the existing multi-storey.
