We’re pleased to share a positive step forward for our London building consultancy team as Richard Rudd moves into the role of director.

Richard’s journey reflects his commitment to the people we work with and the thoughtful, high quality places we help deliver across the southern region.

A highly skilled project manager and building surveyor, Richard joined our Manchester team before moving to London in 2016. Since then, he has built strong relationships and a reputation for adding lasting value, supporting both our clients and the continued growth of our practice in the South.

Richard brings experience across a wide range of building types, including transport hubs, schools, healthcare environments, homes and community spaces. This breadth of knowledge helps him take a balanced, practical approach to every project.

His early career focused on transport and infrastructure, including time with Manchester Airport Group (MAG). He has continued this relationship at AHR, supporting surveying and construction projects and developing long-term partnerships.

In recent years, Richard has played a key role in our work with schools and universities, leading relationships with organisations such as The Harris Federation and Kingston University. He has also supported complex healthcare programmes, providing steady leadership across a range of large-scale PFI schemes.
