Stylish, affordable living with the city on its doorstep
Breathing new life into the area, our design for City Place in Chester includes a mixture of one and two bedroom apartments, comprising a total of 133 new affordable homes. The U-shaped development will sit atop a landscaped podium, boasting seven storeys of stylish homes overlooking the Shropshire Union Canal.
Making the most of its canal-side location and to encourage residents to consider more environmentally friendly methods of moving around the area, our design also includes attractive public realm alongside the water.
City Place will better connect its residents to the historical city as well as to prominent transport links, sitting 300m to the south of Chester Rail Station and 800m to the east of the city’s cathedral. Car parking facilities are also included in our design, creating more accessibility and convenience for residents and visitors alike.
A welcome 412-bed student accommodation, replacing the former, tired industrial structure.
