Associate director Neil Dixon, based in our Huddersfield office, is an experienced building surveyor with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. He is dedicated to providing his clients with the highest possible level of service and takes great satisfaction in seeing his work make a positive impact on people’s lives.

Having joined the practice over two decades ago, Neil has expanded his experience across diverse projects and sectors. His expertise spans transport infrastructure, schools and colleges and civic and community. Neil’s involvement in conservation and heritage projects encompasses tasks varying from small extensions to comprehensive quinquennial surveys and reports.
Neil covers all project stages outlined by RIBA and GRIP. Impressively, he has demonstrated his skill in smoothly guiding projects through these diverse phases, effectively overcoming even the most complex challenges. He is particularly experienced in working on listed buildings and structures and has a keen eye for detail and a commitment to preserving the historic fabric of these buildings.
With exceptional communication skills, Neil has built and developed many meaningful relationships throughout his career, from clients, contractors and industry professionals as well as his colleagues across the practice.
Outside of the office, Neil enjoys spending time with his family visiting National Trust sites and getting some fresh air out in the countryside. He also enjoys a spot of gardening and often supports his local church by bell ringing at weddings.
