Marking an exciting educational addition to the area, Star Radcliffe Academy will provide 750 places for pupils from years 7 to 11.

The school is set to be built off Spring Lane, at the site of the town’s current leisure centre. The swimming pool and other leisure facilities currently on the site will be relocated to the new civic hub development in Radcliffe town centre.

Star Academies will run the new school in partnership with the Department for Education.

Our design of the Star Radcliffe Academy campus has been crafted to provide students with access to exceptional learning facilities within an environment tailored to ensure each pupil can reach their fullest potential.”

Imran Kassim

Director and Project Lead

The school will encompass modern classrooms with specialist teaching spaces for science, art, food technology, graphics and music. Additionally, the school will feature a suite of modern IT spaces, dining facilities and a spacious learning resource centre.

On the campus, sports and performing arts facilities will be available, including a three-court sports hall and a contemporary activity studio suitable for drama and dance studies.

External amenities will include a 3G all-weather pitch for football and rugby training, a Gen 2 all-weather pitch for hockey and football and a multi-use games area.
