Planning submitted for a new cutting-edge innovation centre

by AHR
Plans have been submitted for a new innovation hub in Redditch, a cornerstone project in the wider town centre regeneration programme and a key driver of future economic growth.
The proposed 2,600m² facility will provide flexible, high quality workspace for both start-ups and established manufacturing businesses, with a strong focus on innovation in the fast-growing digital and technology sectors.
Designed to directly address local challenges, including limited enterprise space, access to skills development and ageing infrastructure, the centre will unlock new economic potential, create skilled jobs and support the town’s long-term prosperity.
The centre will act as a catalyst for economic renewal by offering modern start-up space and the opportunity for local people to develop valuable digital skills in a collaborative, future-focused environment.
This is a pivotal moment for Redditch. By creating a space that champions innovation, supports local businesses and equips people with the digital skills they need for the future, we’re laying the foundations for a stronger, more resilient local economy.”

Project DirectorThe dynamic new workspace will offer a variety of office spaces designed to suit a range of modern work environments. To encourage collaboration and creativity, our design includes open, shared breakout areas that will support meaningful connection and productivity.
A thoughtful blend of private and communal spaces will ensure the building is not only functional but adaptable to the diverse needs of its occupants.
Our strategic landscape approach prioritises character, biodiversity and a strong sense of belonging. Flexible social space for informal gatherings and events will support greater connection and interaction between those using the building and the wider community.

This milestone marks an important step forward in delivering this transformative project, which forms part of a broader strategy to revitalise Redditch and attract new investment into the town centre.
