Our major hospital project, Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital (SaTH), reaches exciting milestone
by AHR

We were proud to join The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust and the wider project team to mark the topping out of the new ward block as part of this important healthcare development.
A significant milestone in the delivery of improved facilities for patients and colleagues, the event was also a great opportunity to celebrate the progress made on site and the collective effort behind the project that will play a vital role in strengthening healthcare provision across the region.
Improving care for the communities it will serve
Now known as the ‘Hospitals Transformation Programme’ (HTP), the project involves refurbishing, remodelling and extending the existing Emergency Department, along with constructing a new hospital design, all to enhance care for local people.
Shaped through collaboration, focused on care
Designed in close collaboration with clinicians, estates teams and partners, the scheme responds to clinical need while building in long-term flexibility. From day one, it will support efficient workflows, enhance patient experience and promote staff wellbeing, helping the Trust deliver modern, resilient healthcare facilities fit for the future.
The design has been developed through teamwork and collaboration among our healthcare teams, drawing on expertise from across our UK offices. This joined-up approach has allowed us to respond to complex clinical requirements while maintaining a clear focus on the patient experience.
Working closely with clinicians, estates teams and project partners has been key to creating a design that will help make workflows smoother, build resilient, future ready healthcare environments and improve the experience and wellbeing of both patients and staff.”
