We are appointed to CHIC’s UK Optimised Retrofit Consultancy DPS
Whilst retrofitting housing is an essential tool in reducing carbon emissions and supporting the Government’s net-zero carbon ambitions, it can be a challenging process without the necessary expertise and resources to undertake such projects.
Carbon emissions from buildings account for approximately 40% of the UK’s total carbon emissions so to support social housing providers in undertaking the challenge to significantly reduce these, CHIC (Communities & Housing Investment Consortium) has developed the UK Optimised Retrofit Dynamic Purchasing System for Consultancy.
As part of our ongoing decarbonisation initiative, our building consultancy team is proud to have been appointed under the following lots:
- Lot 1: Retrofit Advice
- Lot 2: Retrofit Assessment
- Lot 3: Retrofit Designer
- Lot 4: Retrofit Co-ordinator
This DPS provides a compliant route to market for social housing providers to procure consultancy services related to retrofitting their housing stock. It is designed to streamline the process, enabling the providers to acquire consultancy services efficiently, while ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.
