A key design driver for the development is to position green open space at the heart. All residents will enjoy a view from their homes of open green space, from either the central amenity space or the landscape to the north west of the site, which the larger apartment block is nestled within.
The area is pedestrian-focused, with parking tucked away and the existing footpaths retained and enhanced. Where possible existing trees are retained with buildings nestled in amongst them.
All homes on the site will be affordable, with 8 being shared ownership and 26 socially rented. The development also includes 16 apartments and 1,190m2 of shared open space for the community to enjoy.
