Allan Hunt

Allan Hunt, managing director of building consultancy, believes that nurturing and valuing relationships is fundamental to the development of our people and to the quality of client service we deliver.

He appreciates that only through listening and understanding the challenges our clients and teams face, can we adapt and innovate to provide practical, creative and sustainable solutions. Allan is dedicated to driving an agile and resilient practice in a continuously changing market.

I’m incredibly passionate about empowering people and the teams around me; nurturing their abilities and enabling them to flourish.

With over 30 years’ at the practice, Allan brings with him a wealth of experience, looking after a range of projects for both public and private sector clients as well as managing many public sector frameworks.

He is dedicated to driving innovation across the practice and exploring new technologies to ensure future growth and opportunities for AHR. He has been instrumental in championing Building Information Modelling (BIM) within surveying and, looking ahead, is passionate about exploring technology and pushing the boundaries as surveyors, creating a smart, innovative and forward-thinking workplace.

Away from work, Allan enjoys sports and keeping fit, namely golf and Pilates. He also enjoys rugby, though just watching these days. He brings his belief in teamwork to the office and promotes the benefits of health and wellbeing in the workplace.
