Significance and Understanding Gaining a complete understanding of the historic environment is key to its sustainable management. Before any works are considered, we carry out research, audits and assessments to make sure we fully understand the building and to inform decisions about its future. This includes the creation of Conservation Statements, Conservation Management Plans and Conservation Area Assessments. Survey and Analysis We have a wealth of knowledge and experience of historic buildings, their construction, context and issues which affect them. With the technical expertise and equipment to carry out detailed survey and investigation works, we are well equipped to carry out the survey and analysis of historic buildings. Our services include historic building surveys, recording and analysis, measured building surveys, and photometrics, condition surveys and quinquennial inspections.
