Upton Village, on the former Plaistow Hospital site, has won Best Development in Affordable Housing at the London Evening Standard New Homes Awards 2017.
The ceremony was held at The Dorchester in Mayfair, with the awards embracing a spectrum of homes, from first-time buyer flats to one-off luxurious mansions; city centre high-rise developments to countryside conversions, and from boutique apartment projects to large-scale regeneration schemes.
The Affordable Housing category in particular looked at the shared ownership of the project, as well as judging the architectural excellence, regeneration and eco-design.
