The new garden, which was completed in six weeks, creates an urban oasis and increases biodiversity on the campus. The design reinforces the indoor/outdoor connection as an extension to the hidden garden completed in the Social Spaces.
Low planting near the building increases in height towards the road, acting as a green buffer from adjacent traffic. A modular central seating area is surrounded by trees and perennial planting providing all year round interest and use.
