ST JOHN PLESSINGTON CATHOLIC COLLEGE

  • AHR HAS WORKED FOR ST JOHN PLESSINGTON CATHOLIC COLLEGE SINCE 2010, BEFORE ITS CONVERSION TO ACADEMY STATUS IN 2012 AND SINCE THEN AHR HAS SECURED FUNDING FOR THE COLLEGE THROUGH THE CONDITION IMPROVEMENT FUND.

  • With £5 million in funding secured, this has enabled condition improvement projects, such as flat roof replacement, refurbishment of toilet facilities, alterations to the kitchen and a window replacement scheme.

In addition, AHR has been successful in obtaining funding for the provision of a new sixth form facility which provided a more adult-focused learning environment, with an open plan learning centre, media room and associated classrooms.

Throughout each of our projects, we carefully manage our relationship with the client and keep them fully informed of progress with regular meetings, site inspections and formal reports. Projects have been undertaken during term time and we have taken great care to ensure that disruption to pupils and staff is minimised through careful planning and close liason with the College.

The college now receives an annual SCA allocation and, testament to our close relationship, we continue to work with them on the delivery of their projects.
