KRUCZA 50 IS THE FIRST WEWORK CO-WORKING SPACE IN POLAND, LOCATED IN A PRESTIGIOUS AREA OF DOWNTOWN WARSAW. AHR WAS APPOINTED TO TRANSFORM 3,800 M2 OF THIS LANDMARK MODERNIST BUILDING INTO A FLEXIBLE, CONTEMPORARY WORKSPACE.
SPLIT OVER TWO FLOORS, THE DESIGN INCORPORATES PRIVATE OFFICES, SHARED WORK AREAS AND EVENT SPACES AND COMBINES TECHNICAL INNOVATION WITH HIGHEST LEVELS OF USER COMFORT.
We worked in close collaboration with WeWork’s interior design team to create a changing occupancy workspace that is, in line with the WeWork philosophy, an attractive and comfortable shared community.
The design includes common areas with extensive member facilities, such as catering and interaction spaces and an accessible outdoor terrace. The theme brings a warm, friendly atmosphere while retaining the original industrial character of the building.
A key challenge was to meet WeWork’s exceptional standards within Poland’s strict fire and health and safety regulations, and our design provides contemporary surroundings that exceed legislation. This was possible through key innovations such as:
