GLENWOOD DAYCARE CENTRE IS PART OF THE 'HOMES FOR LIFE' CONCEPT PROGRAMME FOR GLASGOW CITY COUNCIL. THIS SCHEME WILL REDUCE THE DIVERSE AND DETERIORATING INFRASTRUCTURE OF 15 CENTRES INTO 6 NEW RESIDENTIAL HOMES AND 3 NEW DAY-CARE CENTRES.
This stand-alone daycare centre was the first of the 'Homes for Life' facilities to open.
Flexible activity spaces open onto a secure garden space, and the building provides the option of four individual activity rooms or, by opening sliding folding partitions, various combinations of rooms to create larger spaces, all opening onto the gardens.
Separate Dining facilities, dedicated Dementia Activity Space, a Sensory Room and Hairdresser ensure that a wide range of daycare activities and facilities are available to the community.
