AHR BUILDING CONSULTANCY HAS WORKED IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE DIOCESE OF SHREWSBURY SINCE 2000 AND WAS APPOINTED TO THEIR FRAMEWORK FOR BUILDING DESIGN CONSULTANCY SERVICES IN 2009. OVER THIS TIME WE HAVE FORMED A CLOSE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DIOCESE AND ITS SCHOOLS, HAVE BEEN EMBRACED AS A TRUSTED ADVISOR, AND SUCCESSFULLY DELIVER MORE THAN 150 PROJECTS ANNUALLY, RANGING FROM REFURBISHMENT, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE TO CAPITAL NEW-BUILD, INTERNAL ALTERATIONS AND ADAPTATIONS.
We work closely with the diocese’s schools, firstly to collate data in order to produce a programme of works, and then to manage the projects through to successful completion. A programme is implemented which deals not only with planned development, but also reactive maintenance and repair.
This holistic approach towards capital and maintenance of the diocese’s portfolio provides an economic and best-value approach to the whole life-cycle and upkeep of the capital assets.
Over the years, we have developed a close understanding of the schools with which we work, helping us to provide buildings that fulfil the requirements of the curriculum, provide excellent facilities for local communities, and help pupils reach their highest potential.
