David became a Director of AHR in 2016. With a breadth of experience across infrastructure, transport, civic and educational sectors, David has developed an expertise in residential and mixed use sites. Much of his work requires the unlocking of difficult sites and taking these through complex planning and urban design challenges.
David has successfully led several major projects including the competition winning scheme for St Mary's Island, Phase 3 masterplan for the regeneration of Kennet Island and the mixed use development and masterplan at Victory Pier in Gillingham, where our work has won Best Buy category in the Evening Standard New Homes Awards for two years running. Within the practice David also has management responsibility for providing Part 3 mentoring and support as well developing the IT and CAD department with a recent focus on BIM.
Additional previous experience includes cultural, commercial and transport projects which ranged from new build through to work on Grade 1 and 2 listed buildings, these projects included the V&A Glass Gallery 129, Floral Street mixed use redevelopment at Covent Garden, Pitt Rivers Research Centre in Oxford and the New West Ham Bus Garage for TFL.
