AHR Building Consultancy has been successful in winning a major framework with Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) following a competitive tender process through the YORconsult framework.
This ‘single source’ 3 year framework (with option to extend) includes two distinct and separately bid ‘lots’ of work which constitute the following:
Capital Works Framework - £20 million annual programme including a housing regeneration vehicle
Independent Living Schemes (ILS) framework - £6 million annual programme
WDH is one of the UK’s largest Registered Providers, responsible for 31,000 properties (65,000 tenants). The organisation has won many awards including UK Landlord of the Year and Large Social Landlord of the Year (UK Housing Awards 2013) and the 2014 EFQM ‘Adding Value for Customers’ award.
This success saw a significant and rigorous bid process and commitment from AHR which involved various ‘stages’ including PQQ, Tender, Interviews and site visits to both AHR projects and offices. In addition AHR were successful in replacing the incumbent consultant.
