The client's brief challenged the team to ensure the buildings stood as individuals yet were complementary to the wider NOMA masterplan, including the recently consented adjacent development and the existing site context. The solution was to portray 2 Angel Square as a heavier expression, counter-balanced by a lighter weight 3 Angel square and the existing 1 Angel Square.
